Alice Longstaff and Friends

Alice Longstaff is on the right, next to her is Edna Frankling, on the left is Esther Dean. Sheila Thornton used to work with Edna and her son George at James Greenwood, clothiers, in Croft Mill Yard before they merged woth Astins. One of the other ladies is Mrs Shepherd. Alice used to set her camera up to do a delayed exposure, which is why she is usually on the end of a group picture.
