Burton Constable, Centre bay to West Front

Slide 3 – This view shows the latter feature in more detail, and forms a unique composition. The windows here, as on the other side of the house, have stone mullions and transoms restored to them by one of the Clifford – Constable line of owners, before whose time the old house windows had been cut away to make way for the disfiguring square shaped sash windows.
