Title
Clegg Nook and Railway Station Mytholmroyd
Identifier
ALC08182
Description
The station is on a narrow embankment with the ‘up’, Manchester, platform buildings supported by stilts. The covered structure to the left of the building crossed under the viaduct to the main station building at first floor level. At the time this was the only access to the ‘up’ platform. To the centre-left of the foreground is the roof of Mytholmroyd Farm. Between the farm and the railway waiting room are the two short “back to Back” terraces of Royal Fold, where the Catholic Church has been built.
