Description
Slide 10 – For nothing is Farnley Hall famed more than for it’s unrivalled collection of drawings by J M W Turner. They range in point of date from 1806 to 1820, during which period the artist spent some of the happiest years of his life as the guest of Mr Walter Fawkes in Wharfedale. The photograph shows the room called “Turner’s Room” in which these drawings are hung.
