Description
Fielden and Rigg’s finally closed on 24th May 1991. Dancroft Mill was built in 1866 as a weaving concern by Abraham and Samuel Wild. It was occupied by various firms including Luke Barker & Sons until, in the 1930s, it was taken over by Fielden & Rigg for beaming and slasher sizing.
