Mytholmroyd – St Michaels Church.

The church was built in 1847/8 in an Early English Style. The square western tower was constructed with the view of holding a clock and peal of bells. These were eventually installed in 1875. A £3,000 extension was erected in 1888. In 1894 the foundation stones for the Sunday school were laid. Land was purchased in 1902 to extend the church yard.
