Description
This image dated 1887 shows a later version of Nutclough Mill and has the benefit of original handwriting informing us of where it is. The house to the right of the chimney became a hotel and pub known as Nutclough House in the 20th century. Many of the buildings remain today and a row of houses was built, probably for workers at the mill. The houses are still occupied today.
