George Hall Greenwood

George Hall Greenwood – organist at Wainsgate for over 20 years until 1974 and member of the choir. Jane Sunderland has provided the following additional information – He lived at Highfield, Birchcliffe, and was managing director of Sutcliffe Melbourne. He was the father of Joan Greenwood who later married Harry Wadsworth. His retirement address is printed in the Hebden Bridge Local History Society publication ‘The Clothing Industry of Hebden Bridge’.
