Description
Cragg Hall, Cragg Vale, was the home of the Hinchliffe family. It burnt down in 1921. The men pictured here may have been the stonemasons who worked on the house and gardens. When they were cutting stone they had to do so in a shed in the grounds to prevent dust from spoiling the gardens.
